Connor Antonio and Bailey Horn will be proudly representing Penns Manor Area at this year's PMEA All State Concert Band!  Both students competed through several virtual auditions, out scoring students from our region to earn a seat in the state level band. 

 

In April, they will be participating in several days of online rehearsals, sectionals, meetings, and activities along with students from across the state.  At the conclusion of the activities, students will submit final recordings of their music that will be combined into a professional quality recording.

 

Connor recently qualified and participated in another virtual honors ensemble called All Eastern Honors Orchestra.  Last year, Connor placed 1st in the state for trombone which qualified him for this year's All East ensemble.  The top seated players from all of the 13 state bands from Maryland to Maine make up the All East ensembles.  Membership in All East is a great honor and accomplishment.
