Track and Field - Indiana County Meet canceled for tomorrow due to weather.
This week, Mrs. Talmadge’s 7th grade students participated in a hands-on math activity designed to help them understand how tip, tax, and sales tax work in real-life situations. 💵🍽️
Students were given a menu and an order that they had to calculate the sale, tax, and tip. 📋➗
This activity helped students strengthen their skills with percentages, decimals, and mental math, while also building confidence in navigating financial situations they will encounter outside of school. 💡📊
The activity was engaging, practical, and fun - giving students a meaningful way to apply math to the real world! 🎉👏
