The band’s two-week Band Camp wrapped up today, and the group has been putting in countless hours to prepare this year’s show, “Motown,” for upcoming football games and community performances. 🎵🕺
This year, we’re excited to welcome PM’s new Band Director, Luke Hamilton, and new Assistant Band Director, Michaela Gett! 👏🎶
The band’s first performance of the season took place Saturday, August 15, in Clymer as part of the 134th Central District Volunteer Firemen’s Association Convention Parade. 🚒
We can’t wait to see and hear all of their hard work come together throughout the season! ☄️🎶❤️

PMHS student schedules are now open in Sapphire. Schedule changes can be made through the guidance office on August 17th and 18th from 8:00-2:00. Schedules and course offerings are subject to change before the start of the school year.

Track and Field - Indiana County Meet canceled for tomorrow due to weather.
This week, Mrs. Talmadge’s 7th grade students participated in a hands-on math activity designed to help them understand how tip, tax, and sales tax work in real-life situations. 💵🍽️
Students were given a menu and an order that they had to calculate the sale, tax, and tip. 📋➗
This activity helped students strengthen their skills with percentages, decimals, and mental math, while also building confidence in navigating financial situations they will encounter outside of school. 💡📊
The activity was engaging, practical, and fun - giving students a meaningful way to apply math to the real world! 🎉👏
A special shoutout to our “restaurant staff” - Mrs. Dolges, Mr. Carney, and Mrs. Donatelli as our servers, with Mrs. Talmadge as the chef, and Mrs. Kessler and Miss Ford as sous chefs! 👩🍳👨🍳🍴
